Anthropological Index Online (AIO)
 The Anthropological Index Online published by the Royal Anthropological Institute is based on the journal holdings of the library of the Department of Ethnography of the the British Museum (Museum of Mankind) which receives periodicals in all branches of anthropology, from academic institutions and publishers around the world.

Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA)
 CSA is a privately-owned information company located in Bethesda, Maryland. CSA has been publishing abstracts and indexes to scientific and technical research literature for over 30 years. Content coverage includes the life sciences, environmental and aquatic sciences, computer sciences, materials science and engineering, aerospace, social sciences, and humanities.
CoOL - Catalog of Object Links
 This allegro-C database contains no books or articles. Just titles and URLs of Web sites. Ca. 26.000 Web addresses. Among these, some 15.000 electronic journals (many have no full texts but just a home page).
Database of the Spanish National Institute of Statistics
 The Tempus database is the traditional INE system for the circulation of detailed results in the form of temporary series. It was set up in 1987 and has been functioning on Internet since 1997.
Demographic and Health Surveys
 Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) are nationally-representative household surveys with large sample sizes (usually between 5,000 and 30,000 households). DHS surveys provide data for a wide range of monitoring and impact evaluation indicators in the areas of population, health, and nutrition. Typically, DHS surveys are conducted every 5 years, to allow comparisons over time. Geographical coverage: Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America, Caribbean
Demographic Database of UNECE
 The primary goal of the Demographic Database of the Population Activities Unit (PAU-DB) of the UNECE is to collect, store and disseminate basic demographic data and indicators on the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, including all the members of the Commonwealth of Independent States. The data collection has been progressively expanded in order to include a large number of Western European countries. Altogether 53 countries are included in the PAU-DB. Five demographic domains are covered by the database: Population, Fertility, Mortality, Marriage and Divorce, and Population Forecasts. Time series generally begin at 1982 and continue up to the most recent year available.

Environmental Change and Security Program (ECSP)
 "Since its inception in 1994, the Project has served as an information clearinghouse on the views, activities and policy initiatives falling under the rubric of "environment, population and security." The ECSP acts as a neutral, non-partisan forum for researchers, practitioners and interested individuals to meet, exchange ideas and concerns, and develop cross-disciplinary dialogue." European Database on AIDS
 European Database on AIDS contains bibliographic abstracts and references concerning various sorts of documents on aids. It emphasises on "grey literature", i.e. unpublished or little circulated articles, reports, conference proceedings, videos, posters, films on prevention, etc Information contained in this data base is provided by aids documentation centers in Europe. An european multilingual thesaurus on aids has been elaborated making indexation and search of references easier.
