Das MPIDR auf der Jahrestagung der Population Association of America 2016
Auch in diesem Jahr werden wieder viele MPIDR-Wissenschaftler ihre Arbeiten auf dem Jahrestreffen der Population Association of America, dass vom 31. März bis 2. April 2016 in Washington, D.C. stattfindet, präsentieren. Das Institut ist auf der Veranstaltung zudem mit einem Messestand vertreten.
Die Population Association of America (PAA) ist eine gemeinnützige Vereinigung zur Förderung der Bevölkerungsforschung. Der Verband hat ungefähr 3000 Mitglieder, darunter Demografen, Soziologen, Ökonomen und Experten im Gesundheitswesen.
Das Jahrestreffen des Verbandes ist, mit über 2000 Teilnehmern, eine der wichtigsten Veranstaltungen für Bevölkerungsforscher.
Sie können Mitarbeiter des Instituts am Messestand Nr. 414 (Plan der Austellungshalle) treffen. Dort erhalten Sie auch allgemeine Informationen über das Institut sowie Informationen über aktuelle Ausschreibungen.
