Life-Course Dynamics in Eastern and Western Germany

This project focuses on the East-West divide of fertility and family behavior, which has been persisting almost 20 years into unification. Data for the project comes mainly from the German Family Panel (pairfam) and DemoDiff, its supplement, the latter being an oversample of East German women and men of the 1971-73 and 1981-83 cohorts.Detailed description
