Stata code for reproducing the cohort fertility forecasts and 95% prediction intervals for the paper: Myrskylä, Mikko, Joshua R. Goldstein, and Yen-hsin Alice Cheng.

Instructions:

1. Download the file cohort_fertility.zip (compressed folder, 184 kByte) to your computer and open it
2. Copy the contents of the folder “CTFR_PDR” to your computer
3. Open the file master.do and set the working directory (two first lines of the code)
4. Run the file master.do
5. The forecasts and the 95% prediction intervals are saved in the results-folder
