Social Demography of Menopause Timing (Dissertation)

This PhD project studies menopause timing as a demographic indicator of social inequality. Using large-scale population data from low-, middle-, and high-income contexts, it examines how menopause timing differs across cohorts, socioeconomic conditions, and migration contexts, and it investigates how women’s reproductive histories shape their menopause timing and later-life health.
