Das MPIDR auf der Jahrestagung der Population Association of America 2022

Auch in diesem Jahr präsentieren viele MPIDR-Wissenschaftler*innen ihre Arbeit auf dem Jahrestreffen der Population Association of America, das vom 6. bis 9. April 2022 stattfindet. Das Institut ist auf der Veranstaltung zudem mit einem Messestand vertreten, der Online-Auftritt ist hier zu finden: www.demogr.mpg.de/go/paa2022

Die Population Association of America (PAA) ist eine gemeinnützige Vereinigung zur Förderung der  Bevölkerungsforschung. Der Verband hat ungefähr 3000 Mitglieder, darunter Demograf*innen, Soziolog*innen, Ökonom*innen und Expert*innen im Gesundheitswesen.

Das Jahrestreffen des Verbandes ist, mit über 2000 Teilnehmer*innen, eine der wichtigsten Veranstaltungen für Bevölkerungsforscher*innen.
