Das MPIDR auf der Jahrestagung der Population Association of America 2019
Auch in diesem Jahr werden wieder viele MPIDR-Wissenschaftler*innen ihre Arbeiten auf dem Jahrestreffen der Population Association of America, dass vom 10.–13. April 2019 in Austin, Texas, stattfindet, präsentieren. Das Institut ist auf der Veranstaltung zudem mit einem Messestand vertreten.
Die Population Association of America (PAA) ist eine gemeinnützige Vereinigung zur Förderung der Bevölkerungsforschung. Der Verband hat ungefähr 3000 Mitglieder, darunter Demograf*innen, Soziolog*innen, Ökonom*innen und Expert*innen im Gesundheitswesen.
Das Jahrestreffen des Verbandes ist, mit über 2000 Teilnehmer*innen, eine der wichtigsten Veranstaltungen für Bevölkerungsforscher*innen.
