Research Group: Gender Inequalities and Fertility
Visiting PhD student from the University of Trento (IT), School of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology and Social Research.
My dissertation focuses on the transition to adulthood in the European context, with a particular attention to the role of parental socio-economic background and gender differences, and is based on longitudinal survey data.
My research interests lie broadly in the study of how social inequalities, changing gender norms, and contextual factors affect individuals' life-courses. I have also methodological interests related to event history and multilevel analysis.
While at MPIDR, I will work on the project "The Transition to Co-residence in Germany. Gender Inequalities in Economic Determinants".
