The Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research is seeking
for the Laboratory of Fertility & Well-Being and the Laboratory of Population Health. The candidates should have a background in Sociology, Demography, Economics, Political Science, or a related field. Experience with statistical software (e.g., Excel, STATA, R) and a good command of English is essential.
The tasks include
- Literature search;
- Compilation of demographic data;
- Management and construction of databases;
- Secondary data analysis;
- Organizational support.
The successful candidates will start working as soon as possible. The initial contract is for 6 months with the possibility of an extension. The number of working hours is max. 40 hours per month. More information on the work of the Institute is available at www.demogr.mpg.de.
