8th IMPRS-PHDS Graduate Workshop

Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR), April 22–23, 2027

The workshop is designed to bring together IMPRS-PHDS students and alumni without supervisors and faculty and will focus on student presentations as in previous years. All IMPRS-PHDS students and alumni will have the opportunity to present progress reports, research outlines, and preliminary and advanced dissertation work in the form of a paper presentation (oral presentation) or a poster presentation in an informal setting. We invite participants to present research updates at various stages of completion. Students will receive feedback from fellow students, IMPRS-PHDS alumni and IMPRS-PHDS coordinators.

This will be an on-site workshop at the MPIDR, focusing primarily on the interests and needs of on-site participants. However, we also offer a virtual option so that those who cannot travel can participate online, at least to a limited extent.
