8th PHDS Annual Academy

Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR), Rostock, Germany, December 09–11, 2026

This is an invitation-only event. 

As in previous years, the Academy will focus on students’ research presentations and networking activities. All students will be given the opportunity to present themselves and their research to our network and receive feedback from faculty, alumni and from their peers. Our alumni will share their experiences in a designated session. As always, we will allow ample time for informal discussions, socializing, and networking.
