6th Place in the Rostocker Firmenlauf Competition

The 2nd Annual Rostocker Firmenlauf, a running competition in which teams of employees from Rostock companies and institutions are invited to participate, took place on August 24. The MPIDR team “Tempo Effects” achieved an impressive sixth-place finish.

A total of 89 teams with four runners each took part in the race. The runners had to circle the Rostock City Harbor twice, covering a distance of around seven kilometers. All of the teams started at the same time, and the times of the runners were added together in calculating the team results. The winning team in the men’s category was from the municipal utilities, while the winning group in the women’s category was the “Office Hopper” (Amtshopper) team from the employment agency. The MPIDR team, made up of Joshua Goldstein, Michaela Kreyenfeld, Mikko Myrskylä, and Felix Rößger, came in sixth place overall.
