Estimating and Modeling Fertility Indicators

Benjamin-Samuel Schlueter, Jessica Donzowa, Emilio Zagheni, Daniela Perrotta

We develop Bayesian models for estimating fertility indicators in data-deficient contexts by smoothing estimates, borrowing information between units, incorporating demographic knowledge, and combining surveys. We complement these approaches with our own online data collections via Facebook.  Detailed Description
