Records of vital events, such as births and deaths, are among the most critical social statistics, and are increasingly used for monitoring social and health development. Most low- and middle-income countries do not have a complete and robust vital registration system, leading to a lack of mortality data. Therefore, rigorous assessments of adult mortality and mortality disparities in these countries are often limited. This project aims to investigate premature adult mortality by socioeconomic characteristics in India.  Detailed Description
