Modeling Informative Censoring Mechanisms

Jutta Gampe

Censoring occurs if data are not reported exactly but only intervals are given in which the observations lie. A crucial assumption for unbiased analyses is that the censoring mechanism is independent of the unobserved value. If this assumption is violated, the censoring mechanism has to be modeled as well.  Detailed Description
