Trends in the Age Patterns of Morbidity and Mortality: Monitoring and New Methodological Approaches

Kieron Barclay, Timothy Riffe, Maarten Jacob Bijlsma, Alyson van Raalte, Jorge Cimentada, Sebastian Klüsener (MPIDR / Federal Institute for Population Research, Wiesbaden, Germany)

Morbidity and mortality present regular patterns of time variation, social gradients, and linear relationships between higher distributional moments. This project exploits novel signals in such patterns to improve the measurement, prediction, and evaluation of disease and mortality burdens.  Detailed Description
