Stefano Arnolfo

Research Group: Gender Inequalities and Fertility

Stefano Arnolfo is a PhD student in the Independent Research Group on Gender Inequalities and Fertility at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR) in Rostock, Germany. Stefano received a Master's degree in Sociology from the University of Turin, Italy, where he graduated with a thesis titled "Family formation histories and their effect on subjective wellbeing and 
mental health in the United Kingdom: A life course approach".

Stefano's research focuses on the reproduction of gender inequalities at the intersection of demographic change, the diffusion of new family forms, and parenthood in Western societies.
