Labor market uncertainty and fertility

Sociologist Barbara Hofmann from the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg will give a lecture at the MPIDR entitled “Labor market uncertainty and fertility”.

Vita

Barbara Hofmann works as a post-doc at the University of Mannheim in the research group of Gerard van den Berg and at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg. She received her doctoral degree at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2010. Before joining the graduate school of the IAB and the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2006, she studied sociology at the LMU Munich. Her primary research interest is in labor economics with a focus on the evaluation of labor market policies.
