Rostock to become City of Young Researchers 2013

Having entered the competition with the slogan "We produce wind", Rostock has beaten runner-up Jena. The city will receive up to 65 000 euros in prize money.

The prize is awarded by three german foundations to cities that have made exceptional efforts to get young people interested in science, and that want to intensify these efforts by partnering with schools, universities, research centers and companies.
