Congratulations!

On December 15, 2016, former MPIDR PhD student László Németh successfully defended his thesis entitled "Identifying the parsimonious model for adult and old-age human mortality: Statistical evidence, applications and consequences" at the University of Rostock.

László Németh was a PhD student in the Laboratory of Survival and Longevity, his thesis was supervised by MPIDR director Jim Vaupel and MPIDR researcher Trifon Missov. He is currently working at the Hungarian Demographic Research Institute (HDRI) in Budapest.
