Abstract

(The abstract is presented by author) The retrospective study of blood cholesterol level in 17 old individuals (using clinical records for 20 years) have shown that serum cholesterol decreased from age 70 to age 90 in the same individuals. This finding could mean that not only selectivity factor, but also individual aging may contribute to an improvement of some physiological indices in old age.
