Estimating Smooth Rates from Interval-Censored Data

Hazard rates model the occurrence of events over time. When individuals are observed at discrete time points only, exact information on the occurrence of the event is lost, resulting in interval-censored data. The modest assumption of smoothness allows us to estimate hazard trajectories despite the missing information. Ausführliche Beschreibung
