Congratulations!

Nuria Calduch received the “Early Career Scientist Award” for her oral presentation at the Annual Science Conference of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES). The Conference took place September 19-23 in Gdansk.

Nuria Calduch is a PhD student at the Laboratory of Survival and Longevity. The title of her presentation at the ICES Science Conference was: "Scenarios of ecological and economic consequences of rebuilding paths of depleted populations".

ICES coordinates marine research in the North Atlantic and the Baltic Sea. It is a network of more than 1600 scientists from 200 institutes. The scientists gather information about the marine ecosystem, fill gaps in existing knowledge, and give advice, helping the 20 member founding countries of ICES to manage the North Atlantic Ocean and the Baltic Sea.
