Working-Life Expectancy at Older Age

Conducted by Mikko Myrskylä; Christian Dudel, Angelo Lorenti, Pekka Martikainen (MPIDR / University of Helsinki, Finland); in Collaboration with Jo Mhairi Hale (University of St Andrews, United Kingdom), Elke Loichinger, Sebastian Klüsener (both: Federal Institute for Population Research, Wiesbaden, Germany)

Using data from the US and Finland, we assess how working-life expectancy at age 50 has developed in recent years, how it differs between institutional settings, how it depends on economic trends, and how it differs between socioeconomic groups.  Detailed Description
