Das MPIDR auf der Jahrestagung der PAA

Viele MPIDR-Forscher werden ihre Arbeiten auf dem Jahrestreffen der Population Association of America, die vom 11. bis 13. April in News Orleans stattfindet, präsentieren. Das Institut ist auf der Veranstaltung zudem mit einem Messestand vertreten.

Die Population Association of America (PAA) ist eine gemeinnützige Vereinigung zur Förderung der  Bevölkerungsforschung. Der Verband hat mehr als 300 Mitglieder, darunter Demografen, Soziologen, Ökonomen und Experten im Gesundheitswesen.

Das Jahrestreffen des Verbandes ist, mit über 2000 Teilnehmern, eine der wichtigsten Veranstaltungen für Bevölkerungsforscher.
