COVID-19 and Family

This project examines how the COVID-19 pandemic affected fertility, partnering, and family dynamics, and which factors contributed to variation in impacts across countries and regions. Using vital statistics and digital trace data, it analyzes short-term fluctuations and subnational variation, and evaluates the potential use of novel data sources for real-time demographic monitoring.
